This sheet explains in 4 steps how to draw a lovely boat sailing on the water! With this simple and fun method of learning to draw, children will become real artists!
To make this boat, you can use "C" Grain®, Mi-Teintes® or Vivaldi® paper.
Step 1
Start by building up the mast and hull of boat in pencil.
Step 2
Using the same building method, add the sails and flag.
Erase the unnecessary lines which are indicated by dotted lines.
Step 3
Fine-tune the boat's shape: add curves for the sails, thicken the mast, and add detail to the hull and flag, Erase the unnecessary lines which are indicated by dotted lines.
Step 4
Add the sea in the form of waves.
Step 5
Colour in any way you want.
To make the scene more realistic, you can add birds in the sky for example!
