Painting with your hands (and also your fingers), is an art. You might smudge yourself, but the result is super!

Materials

  • Finger paints (several colors)
  • 1 sheet of paper
  • Your hands!

1. Paint a head

  • Put the paint on your right hand and make a print on the paper.
  • Let it dry.
  • With another color, using the end of your index finger: draw two points for the eyes and a mouth. Let it dry.
  • Put paint on your left thumb and apply it to the left and right side of the face. Your person has two ears and a beautiful tuft of hair!

2. Painting a hen

3. Drawing flowers

Choose 3 colors.

  • For the petals and grass: use all your fingers to vary their size.
  • For thorns: use the edge of the little finger.

4. Drawing an insect

Choose 2 colors.

  • For the body: press the entire side of your hand slightly curved onto the sheet. Take advantage of the fact that the paint is not dry yet to draw out the legs of the body with your little finger.
  • For the wings: use your thumb. You can add the number of wings that you want!
  • For the eyes: use your little finger.

Memo: insects (spiders, butterflies, ants, etc.) are excellent models for finger painting. Play with it!
