Whether it's for your creative hobbies, activities with the kids, or to create personalised greetings cards, this tutorial will guide you every step of the way! This tutorial is designed to be made on Canson Colorline Chocolate paper, taking advantage of its natural hue to bring this festive character to life!

First, we'll lay the foundations by drawing the main lines. These construction lines will help you structure your design.

Then we'll move on to the detailed drawing: refine the contours to give the gingerbread man his characteristic look. Draw a wide smile, two small circles for the eyes and buttons to decorate the body. Don't forget festive designs like zigzags or wavy lines to represent the icing on the arms and legs!

Finally, it's time to colour: to enhance the design, lighten certain areas with a white coloured pencil. This will create an icing effect on the body and add relief, while subtly lighting up the background to bring out the details. Next, use bright splashes of colour - red, green and perhaps a little gold - for decorative elements such as buttons or festive motifs.

Happy holidays!
