Description

Canson® Coton d’Art is a 100% cotton watercolour paper designed to offer artists a precise, fluid and controlled experience. Available in cold pressed and hot pressed surfaces, it supports every stage of the creative process, from the first wash to the most delicate glazes.

Its natural white tone enhances the intensity of pigments and the richness of subtle nuances, while preserving colour balance. Thanks to its 100% cotton composition, artists can work confidently with blends, transitions and successive layers, offering a comfortable working time to refine effects and build depth.

When working wet-on-wet, colours settle gently, merge delicately and create smooth, even gradations. On dry paper, lines remain clean and precise, making it possible to add details, strengthen contrasts or rework an area with accuracy.

Both subtle and durable, its surface responds precisely to the most demanding techniques. It withstands masking fluid and masking tape without damaging the paper, artists can vary their approaches and work with complete freedom. Available in sheets, rolls, blocks, pads, spiral pads and sketchbooks, Canson® Coton d’Art adapts to every practice and every creative format.

A paper designed for those seeking the right balance between control, sensitivity and the pleasure of painting.
