#Cansontober returns in 2025… celebrating nature!

September 22 2025

This year, we are delighted to invite you to a new edition of the creative challenge #Cansontober on Instagram, alongside illustrator and art director Marie-Eva Peltier.

As always, the concept is simple and playful: create one ink drawing every day throughout October, following a list of inspiring prompts. The idea? To practise, to explore, to step outside your comfort zone and, above all, to enjoy the process with your pens, inks or brushes.

The theme for Cansontober 2025

For this edition, Marie-Eva takes us into her poetic and refined world, where fauna and flora meet. She has created a list of prompts that invite us to slow down, observe the beauty of life and marvel at the nature all around us.

An artist inspired by nature

Originally from south-west France, Marie-Eva has been working as an independent illustrator and art director for more than fifteen years. She collaborates with prestigious brands while developing a personal universe centred on traditional drawing, painting and animal illustration. Passionate about ink, she explores a poetic world where plants, animals and ornamental details intertwine. She also enjoys sharing her expertise through drawing workshops for both children and adults.

Speaking about this collaboration, she says:
“Working with Canson feels completely natural. Their papers have been with me since my very first drawings and still support my work today. Through Cansontober, I want to share my passion and encourage others to experiment every day, with a spirit of playfulness, consistency and freedom.”

Taking part is easy: simply share your daily creations on Instagram using the hashtag #Cansontober. We’ll be keeping a close eye on your drawings and sharing our favourites in stories on @cansonpaper.

So, are you ready to let your pens and inks glide across the page (Canson paper, of course 😉) and celebrate the beauty of nature?

Happy Cansontober 2025 to all!
