#Cansontober is back… and this year, flowers take centre stage!

October 05 2026

October has arrived, and with it a new opportunity to get your drawing supplies out: #Cansontober is back for its fourth edition! For this new edition, we invite you to take part in the challenge alongside illustrator Victoria Alessandri, who will be joining us throughout the month on Instagram.

31 days, 31 flowers and countless creative possibilities! Ranunculus, wisteria, lisianthus, dahlia, orchid… Each day reveals a new flower to interpret freely, using your own technique and artistic style.

And above all, go at your own pace! You can follow all 31 themes, choose just a few, or simply let yourself be inspired by your favourite flowers. The most important thing is to enjoy creating and share your work with the community.

A floral journey into Victoria’s world

For this edition, Victoria Alessandri has imagined much more than a simple list of flowers. Her #Cansontober takes the form of a true artistic herbarium, inspired by the elegance and decorative lines of Art Nouveau.

Mainly created in watercolour, her artworks will combine botanical compositions with female portraits set within lush plant-filled scenes, with particular attention paid to details and ornamental lines.

Each day, Victoria will reveal her own interpretation of the theme on Instagram. A great source of inspiration… but certainly not a model to reproduce: it’s up to you to imagine your flower, your way!

To take part, share your creations on Instagram using #Cansontober2026 and tag @cansonpaper and @victoriaalessandriart so that we can discover them. We’ll be following your creations throughout the month and sharing our favourites in our Stories.
